Proverbs Part II

Proverbs Part II

Here is the second and final posting for the questions for the Book of Proverbs. As previously mentioned this book does consist largely of verses repeated again and again and worded a b-zillion different ways. Was King Solomon running out of things to say? It is entirely possible.

1. Proverbs 18:6
6 The lips of fools bring them strife, and their mouths invite a beating.

Questions
     1. Sooo, does this mean it is okay to beat the piss out of people who you think desperately deserve it?

2. Proverbs 18:15
15 The heart of the discerning acquires knowledge, for the ears of the wise seek it out.

Questions
     1. If the Lord/God is the ultimate in everything, including wisdom, and if the ears of the wise seek out knowledge and the Lord has ears, does the Lord ALSO seek out knowledge?

     2. If the Lord/God is the ultimate in everything does He EVER have to seek out any kind of knowledge or understanding or wisdom in regard to anything?

3. Proverbs 18:17
17 In a lawsuit the first to speak seems right, until someone comes forward and cross-examines.

Questions
     1. Is this more of the wonderful and expansive knowledge and wisdom of Solomon? Seriously?

     2. Isn't the first to speak in a lawsuit the plaintiff?

     3. Wouldn't a person of WISDOM not make any assumptions about who is right or wrong in a lawsuit until both have spoken and all evidence is brought forth? Who in the hell thinks that the first person to speak in a lawsuit is the right one, hummm?

4. Proverbs 19:11
11 A person’s wisdom yields patience; it is to one’s glory to overlook an offense.

Questions
     1. Much of the Bible discusses the persistent anger of God as well as His consistency in punishing even the smallest of offenses. Did the Lord/God not consider this verse?

     2. If the Lord/God is not very patient, what does that signify in regards to His level of wisdom?

     3. It is to one's glory to overlook an offense? Sooo, is the person doing the overlooking doing so because they want glory, or because they want to be nice or generous or kind?

     4. Why would a smart fellow like Solomon even mention something so trite as glory when gain of glory is the wrong reason to do something that is supposed to be right in the first place?

5. Proverbs 19:14
14 Houses and wealth are inherited from parents, but a prudent wife is from the Lord.

Questions
     1. Sooo, the person who marries an imprudent wife has been more or less screwed over by the Lord, right? I mean, if a prudent wife is from the Lord why wouldn't the Lord give such a wife to, say, a really good guy (or gal)? Don't lots of nice folk who don't deserve the bitchy wiles of an imprudent woman end up with such for a wife?

6. Proverbs 19:16
16 Whoever keeps commandments keeps their life, but whoever shows contempt for their ways will die.

Questions
     1. Sooo, if you want to keep your life you have to keep the commandments? Wouldn't this include the commandments to stone people for various reasons?

     2. Do people realize there are far more than the well known Ten Commandments that the Lord/God supposedly gave people? Are they not supposed to follow ALL of them? Why don't they?

7. Proverbs 19:17
17 Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lordand he will reward them for what they have done.

Questions
     1. The Lord/God is always promising rewards here and there to people for various things. Do these people ever get them? Are these rewards from the Lord/God supposed to be in the afterlife?

     2. Are there kind people who do not lend to the poor?

     3. If lending to the poor is lending to the Lord, is the Lord poor and in need of lending? Is this why televangelists are always asking people for money to give to Jesus?

8. Proverbs 19:18
18 Discipline your children, for in that there is hope; do not be a willing party to their death.

Questions
     1. Sooo, does Solomon mean physical discipline or discipline more along the lines of working with the child and showing them by example and speaking with them?

9. Proverbs 19:19
19 A hot-tempered person must pay the penalty; rescue them, and you will have to do it again.

Questions
     1. Really? Well, the Lord/God seems to be pretty hot tempered. Who the hell is going to rescue Him?

     2. God/the Lord is consistently hot tempered. What penalty will He have to pay?

10. Proverbs 20:4
4 Sluggards do not plow in season; so at harvest time they look but find nothing.

Questions
     1. If a person is too goddamn lazy to plow their fields, how in the hell would they suddenly get the energy at harvest time to get their lazy asses up to look for what they didn't plant in the first freaking place?!

11. Proverbs 20:9
9 Who can say, “I have kept my heart pure; I am clean and without sin”?

Questions

     1. Exactly. WHO can say such? Can the Lord/God say such?

     2. Is anger and killing people out of anger a sin? Aren't there plenty of stories in the Bible of God being severely angry and killing people in the heat of that anger?

     3. Is God clean and pure and without sin?

12. Proverbs 20:12

12 Ears that hear and eyes that see— the Lord has made them both.

Questions

     1. And what about the ears that do not hear and the eyes that do not see? Doesn't the Lord make them also? Why would He make something that does not function properly?

13. Proverbs 20:30

30 Blows and wounds scrub away evil, and beatings purge the inmost being.

Questions

     1. Sooo, Solomon IS condoning beating the crap out of people?

     2. People in prison get the shit beat out of them all the time. If blows and wounds scrub away evil...well, why do these morons always end up right back in prison?

14. Proverbs 21:8

8 The way of the guilty is devious, but the conduct of the innocent is upright.

Questions

     1. What is the point of having Solomon say that the way of the guilty is devious? Isn't such apparent?

     2. If the way of the innocent is so upright why is it punished so often?

15. Proverbs 22:1

1 A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold.

Questions

     1. Not that many verses ago Solomon said that it was wisdom that was more desirable than riches, but now it is a good name that is more desirable? What changed his mind?

16. Proverbs 22: 24-25

24 Do not make friends with a hot-tempered person, do not associate with one easily angered,

25 or you may learn their ways and get yourself ensnared.

Questions

     1. Well, God/the Lord is hot tempered and angry. Should people associate with the Lord?

     2. Do terrorists of any religion act in the hideous ways that they do because they have been ensnared by the anger of their God?

17. Proverbs 25:21-22

21 If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; if he is thirsty, give him water to drink.

22 In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head, and the Lord will reward you.

Questions

     1. Sooo, the Lord is rewarding because of what? Because of making the enemy feel like they have burning coals on their head, or because someone fed another person (which is what you do when people are hungry, right?)?

18. Proverbs 28:14

14 Blessed is the one who always trembles before God, but whoever hardens their heart falls into trouble.

Questions

     1. Why is the one who always trembles before God always blessed? Is it because God gets something from the trembling person? What does He get?

     2. Does God translate the trembling of those before Him into glory?

19. Proverbs 29:22

22 An angry person stirs up conflict, and a hot-tempered person commits many sins.

Questions

     1. Sooo, if the Lord/God is so very hot tempered (and oh yes my MY He is) how many sins has He committed? How many conflicts has He stirred up?

20. Proverbs 30:5-6

5 Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.

6 Do not add to his words, or he will rebuke you and prove you a liar.

Questions

     1. Every word of God is flawless? Really? If that is the case why don't more of the followers of God follow ALL of the commandments of God given in the Bible?

Continuing With More Questions From Genesis

Please feel free to post any answers you may have to any question in the comment section at the end of the post. If you choose to use Bible verses as references please be sure to note the passage location. Thank you.

Welcome back! We are continuing with Part III of the questions for the book of Genesis of the Holy Bible. Remember, I will not be giving what I think appropriate answers are for any of these questions...if I even have an answer for any given question. I just want to know YOUR answer. Again, understand that answers of "because God said so" or anything of the like are not acceptable.

If you do not have an answer for any particular question do not worry. I don't even have answers for all of my questions. However, what I want to know is why, considering all of these questions about the Bible to include inconsistencies, WHY would people believe the entire Bible as truth? For me it seems to be utter insanity to believe EVERYTHING in the Bible is truth. I will say there are things in the Bible that do ring true, such as ideas of love being patient and kind and non-judgmental...yada-yada, plucka-plucka. But everything in the Bible literally, absolutely true? No.

The purpose here is that I am presenting you with my questions about the Bible that are part of WHY I DO NOT BELIEVE the Bible to be completely and entirely true, why I do not believe that it is the actual literal words of God. Some of my questions are more on the funny/comedic/sarcastic side and you will find that from time to time I do utilize profanity. Do not allow this to bother you; sometimes questions are about things in verses that are so goddamn stupid that I get pissed and friggin' curse.

Again, here, I am giving you my questions that are part of why I do not believe in the Bible. I DO have answers to some of my questions, but I want to hear YOUR answers. I want to know why you believe the Bible is the entire, actual, factual truth and words of God.

Give me your honest to goodness answers and be specific. Give me a reason to believe.

1. Genesis 3:6
When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.

Questions

      1) If the woman does not yet possess the knowledge of good and evil, how in the hell can she make the assessment that the fruit is good?

     2) Does this verse mean the woman thought that the fruit was 'good' for food in the sense that it looked beautiful and nourishing, and not 'good' in the sense of a good and evil approach?

     3) Can it be argued that when Eve gave the fruit to Adam she was not trying to share her so-called sin or bring him down unbeknownst to Adam, but rather was offering the fruit to him because it was what Eve observed as the beauty of the fruit that was good, and a kind, compassionate, innocent individual who is an help-meet would naturally share the beauty with her partner?

     4) Can it further be argued that in taking the fruit Adam was not being tricked or bamboozled by Eve but that he, too, exhibited an appreciation and desire for beauty?

     5) This verse refers to Adam as Eve's husband. Is it then okay to assume there was a wedding?

     6) If there WAS a wedding which expression of God (Father, Son, or Holy Ghost) served as the witness, which gave Eve away, and which presided over the ceremony?

     7) If there was NOT a wedding did God simply make Adam and Eve and say, "There! You're now married?" and did Adam and Eve have any say in the matter whatsoever?

2. Genesis 3:7
Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.

Questions

     1) Does this verse imply that until Adam and Eve ate of the wrong tree that they were cataclysmic-ally ignorant, in other words, their eyes were totally closed?

     2) If Adam and Eve really were created with their eyes 'closed' wouldn't it be appropriate to find out WHY God would do such a thing in the first place?

3. Genesis 3:8
Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden.

Questions

     1) This is one of those really absurd questions that are bound to surface from time to time. God is supposed to be omni-present and everywhere all at once at all times, right?

     2) Did Adam and Eve know of God's omni-presence?

     3) If Adam and Eve DID know of God's omni-presence, God being everywhere all the time, why in the blazing blue did they attempt to hide from the Lord?

     4) How big were the tree trunks in the Garden of Eden? Were the trunks big/wide enough to hide a human figure?

     5) Since God is everywhere and anywhere at absolutely all times from the past to the present and into infinity future, how the hell does He 'walk' in the garden?

     6) Due to His omni-presence (being everywhere all at once) doesn't the idea of God going for a walk in the garden make no goddamn sense whatsoever since, because God IS absolutely EVERYWHERE all at once there is nowhere left for Him to go?

4. Genesis 3:9
But the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?”

Questions

     1) God is all-knowing and thus would know exactly where Adam and Eve are without even needing to ask. So, is God asking a stupid question here to crack a joke or to be an asshole?

5. Genesis 3:10
10 He answered, “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.”

Questions

     1) If eating the wrong fruit 'contaminated' man and made him bad by nature of sin, why didn't Adam and Eve lie to God about where they were hiding or why they were hiding? Why did they tell the truth when questioned?

6. Genesis 3:11
11 And he said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?”

Questions

     1) Is God asking two more stupid questions here?

     2) Since God already knows the answers of what He is asking Adam and Eve, is He purposely trying to play mind games with them?

7. Genesis 3:12
12 The man said, “The woman you put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.”

Questions

     1) Shouldn't Adam's response to God's question be to ask God why the fuck He held back critical information about good and evil and all that happy horseshit?

8. Genesis 3:13
13 Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?”
The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”

Questions

     1) Shouldn't Eve's response to God's question be to ask God why the fuck He neglected to inform them about the wylie serpent?

9. Genesis 3:14
14 So the Lord God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, “Cursed are you above all livestock and all wild animals! You will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life.

Question

     1) So, does this verse mean that before bad things went down in the Garden of Eden the serpent actually, literally had legs?

10. Genesis 3:15
15 And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.”

Questions

     1) So, in addition to tossing man out of the Garden of Eden, God found it necessary to issue the parting gift of enmity that would be the gift that would keep giving the entire existence of man?

     2) Does God's purposeful action of cursing people who had not even been born yet show that God is the one with the problem of cruelty and control and sadism and injustice?

     3) Can't the fact that the verse says that God is the one Who placed the enmity also be interpreted to mean that even AFTER Adam and Eve had eaten of the wrong fruit that supposedly gave them full knowledge of good and evil which would kill them, there was still no apparent enmity or will to do evil and the very fact that the verse says that GOD PUT IT THERE shows Adam and Eve did not possess such a negative trait?

     4) If Adam and Eve did not possess or exhibit this negative trait of enmity even though they had already eaten of the wrong fruit which gave them full knowledge of all things good and evil, couldn't it be argued that despite them eating of the wrong tree Adam and Eve DID use their freewill to make the right choice with their understanding of good and evil?

     5) I mean, can't it be argued that even though both Adam and Eve held within them the full knowledge of good and evil from the very moment they ate the wrong fruit, they still chose to NOT partake in or exemplify enmity; it was something that should be considered as being 'away' from them since for it to be part of them God had to put it there by command?

     6) Isn't God's actions in this verse more or less saying, "I'm gonna fuck things up for you," because maybe God is a sadist?

     7) Is God's action of placing enmity the reason why the Middle East is so goddamn fucked up a majority of the time?

11. Genesis 3:16
16 To the woman he said, “I will make your pains in childbearing very severe; with painful labor you will give birth to children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you.”

Questions
     1) Why in the hell does God curse the future generations?

     2) Why seek to inject pain, great pain at that, on women?

     3) Is the reason God gives curses so freely to remind people WHO really has all of the power and control, to dangle in front of the human mind that no matter what man does or how hard he tries or how good he is...GOD will always have the last say regardless, and you can bet that what God has to say will absolutely have to do with pain?

     4) Is the last part of this curse the reason why so many marriages fail, why so many men cannot seem to listen for shit and why so many men screw around?

12. Genesis 3:17
17 To Adam he said, “Because you listened to your wife and ate fruit from the tree about which I commanded you, ‘You must not eat from it,’ “Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat food from it all the days of your life.

Questions
     1) God curses the ground here. Why? Why curse something that is totally unrelated to Adam and Eve's supposed disobedience?

     2) Is God's purpose for cursing man from so many different angles to make things as absolutely difficult as possible for human beings?

     3) If God really IS purposely trying to make things as difficult as possible for man, is His reason for doing so to frustrate man so deeply that instead of looking within himself for strength and answers man will in error believe that he has no power and no control to fix anything (let alone do anything right), and thus is forced to turn to God for assistance?

Chicken Little: The Rapture is Coming! The Rapture is Coming!

The Rapture is Here: Don't Bother to Pack

Every time something bad or unpalatable happens in the world we live in there is no shortage of people hopping up on their little church pew to shout that whatever has happened is a sure sign of the End Times. Exactly what the hell is wrong with these religiously sadistic people has yet to be identified by science. The closest diagnosis yet offered is explained as Spirituola-Variola Vera, which is a serious bout of a spiritual version of small pox.

Sometimes the individual suffering from such is able to recover with little or no damage to their normal pattern of thinking and social/cultural interaction. There are also those individuals who do survive their bout with the disease, but are left with the scars of unnecessary fear, absurd practices, extreme aversion to Bible-based faiths, and even the thick guilt that often accumulates from treating people poorly and terribly when they believe differently and live differently than how the Bible/religion says. Then there is the last category of sufferers, those who were never able to recover from their bout with the deadly disease and who are left separated from their friends and family and normal living since they truly think Jesus wants them to behave in such a manner.

It is of the utmost importance that the free-thinking individual be aware of those false arguments presented in the pretend gift-wrapping of God's supposed love for man. This 'gift' is always wrapped in blood and separation and tied with a pretty little bow of cultural and religious antagonism. Be very aware that some of the claims as to the supposed signs of the 'End Times' do indeed sound extremely scary until you take them with a grain of salt and a good dose of common fucking sense.

Here are some wonderful clips of folks making absurd, groundless, stupid, insane-sounding, ignorant, fear-filled, hate-driven claims as to the signs of the End Times. The time of each clip within this post varies widely from a few minutes up to more than an hour and a half:

This first clip is a confusion of comments and political assessments that have been referred to by some religious representatives as...Signs of the End Times.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=efdnwYWMpKk&feature=fvwp

Jesus did not kill these creatures. Sometimes these large die-offs of sea life are due to pollution that is man made, and sometimes they are from natural phenomenon such as the Red Tide. It has nothing to do with God or Jesus or the end of time. Some great divine being that created everything does not kill off large numbers of animals when He gets pissed off at man.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dDyzs0BFOoI

Guess what? Sinkholes happen. Yep. They happen. They are not divine in cause or nature or affect or effect. fear mongers of the world seriously need to stop taking whatever piece of news is handy and making some kind of religious judgment with it.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_oipYPFrfv8

Every religious generation believes that they are living in the End Times. A hundred years from now people will be preaching the same gobbledygook.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yl9ju4M57gg

So, explain how this works so we can all make sense of it. You're telling me that Christianity says that astrology is evil and a thing of the devil and a deviation from God, but then turns around and say some goddamn sign in the heavens will signal Jesus' return?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b7hcTwhrKIs

I find it amazing that so many people are so willing to buy into the fraud presented by much in religion: that there is no hope for man to survive without God. Really? I beg to differ. In fact, I think much of the problems in the world throughout history have specifically to do with religion and how the idiots, assholes, and morons of the world use what could and should be a good thing to instead divide and use as a weapon.

I am not saying all of those who choose to believe in God or a god or in a religion are an asshole or idiot or moron. I am saying that those who use religion as a means to justify their ends and as a weapon and tool with which to separate people and make them fight are the assholes and morons and idiots.

Look, many people have been persecuted throughout history. I am not saying the Jewish people have not suffered horribly, I am saying they are not the only ones. How about the American Indians, Blacks, the Irish, Mexicans...want me to continue?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9EHowBW8d8s

How better to keep Christians enslaved and on the edges of their seats than to continuously spout that the Rapture COULD happen at any minute?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RZkm6oEgTrY

There is truly no shortage of people willing to give their two cents on when Jesus will return and under what circumstances.

So many within Christianity think they are in a much less violent faith than those of the Muslim faith. Some even think that the Christian faith is not violent at all, but it is the Muslim faith that is wicked, evil, and violent. In reality, there are individuals and groups within religion and without religion and in Christian and the Muslim faiths that are violent and use their faith as a tool of separation instead of as a way to show how much God truly loves everyone.

Christianity will never be able to rectify the claim that God is love and the assertion that all those who do not believe in the God of the Bible and the salvation of Jesus will suffer great terrors and burn in hell forever. Don't they see the stupidity of their argument that God loves everyone but all those who believe different will burn forever in hell?

Remember I Corinthians 13:4-7? Love conquers all. Say it with me now, love conquers all. Now, maybe the part where some hellfire preaching boneheads get lost is in the translation of the term 'all' and what such term actually applies to. Well, the word 'all' refers to the entire quantity or extent of the entirety of a thing(s). Some synonyms of all are: wholly, entirely, completely, altogether. Not a real difficult concept, is it?

Now then, and follow me closely here so I don't lose you in what many of the elite uber-religious find hard to follow, if love conquers all, then that is exactly what it means. It conquers all. It does not matter the differences in religion or the choice to have no faith at all. Race does not matter. Gender does not matter. Who or how a person chooses as a partner in an intimate relationship does not effing matter.

You ding-dongs out there in the land of Love-Conquers-All-But-It-Is-An-All-That-Does-Not-Encompass-Everything need to go back over your understanding of what love and God are in relation to each other. Get it through your thick skulls that your limitations on love and how God would choose to express that love that He is supposed to have for everyone is completely incompatible of what your very own scriptures say.

Oh, but there are those staunch believer who will cling to the idea that the emergence of equality for gays and lesbians is a sure sign of the End Times and serve only to pollute the world and innocent children. Interesting. I did not realize that Christianity, or any religion for that matter, had the full rights in determining what love is and is not and what it can and cannot be:

Good for you and what you think marriage should consist of. Nice. It is your freedom to believe that way. However, it is NOT your right to insist that your opinion of marriage in regards to religion and what you say God thinks of marriage...it is not your right to press your religious opinions into political legislation by which everyone must live by. Religion has no business in politics, so fuck off.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mbgS0VM1avg

Rick Warren, good for you and your interpretation of relationships and marriage as so stated by the opinions and rulings and whatnot of your fairytale deity. I don't mind hearing your opinion. I do, however, mind you trying to make me live my life according to your absurd spiritual beliefs. I am not a Christian and am most certainly NOT bound by the laws of your hateful faith. So again...fuck off.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KrWfUNPU7kE

Here, Rick Warren tries to elucidate on what freewill is in Christianity, right? So, God gave everyone freewill to make choices, but you had better pick God and Jesus or else you shall surely die. Seriously deluded man, Rick Warren.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZPW3EB5U0bo

Here we go again with some fundamentalist nut bravely standing up to society and declaring that gays and lesbians should not have the right to marry. You see, the way freaks like this put it you would think that the rights of the religious are being infringed upon. That is not the case. No one is saying this slug has to marry another man. But I tell you this, his holiness cannot tell me I cannot marry another woman if I so choose.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-u4Z3n2Fnyc

What do you know? Jesus and God support violence toward children. You touch a child in violence and you will find your happy ass in jail.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_gjm7W-hDLc

Some people are just so hateful there really isn't much to say. This guy goes in the Douche Bag Hall of Fame. Nothing like supporting murder and hate in the name of Jesus.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uu4q2-nbvrw

Wow. WOW.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KfoG4SgiJNQ

So, oh great religious swamis...what else that we see going on in the world is a sure sign of the End Times? What's that you say? Tornadoes, earthquakes, floods, sinkholes, melting icecaps, rising atmosphere temp and depleting ozone layer are ALL signs of the End Times? Whew! Good thing you put me straight on that, because I was thinking those things were just part of the natural geologic functions of the LIVING PLANET that we live on. Shee-it. And here I was thinking that the earthquake had something to do with shifting tectonic plates and subduction.

More scary bullshit happily supported by many who truly believe their spin on life and living and culture and society is the only truth to live by.

Another video intended to scare people into converting to one of the most hateful and fear-based religions ever.

Don't you just love the sound of the air-raid siren at the beginning of the video?

You know, if people took the time to learn more about the geologic processes of this planet and about the behavior patterns of the creatures that share the planet with us they would be far less afraid of things that are in all reality natural occurrences.

Yes, many of these video clips and films are completely driven by fear. Those who cling tenaciously to their belief that mankind is doomed (as per the supposed divinely imparted words of the Bible and various other scriptures) look for the tiniest fact or fragment of a fact or even something that is simply misconstrued as fact due to unreasonable ideas and concepts of divine wrath, and then take all of that crap, fashion a deadly doughnut of despair, and then feed that shit to as many people as possible. Unfortunately, there are many people who grab this poisonous treat as they are hungry...they are ravenously hungry for salvation as a direct result of religious fear digging a deep pit within them.

These are not by any stretch of the imagination the End Times. There is no end. There never has been an end. Everything simply IS. The settings may change. The players may change. The prosperity may change. The climate and the technology and the interactions of cultures may change. Everything has and is and can and will change. That is the character and function of existence: matter and energy. Energy is never destroyed but rather simply shifts into a new expression of that energy.

Besides, if you approach the issue from the angle of God being eternal and in and of and for and to reality you will see there cannot be an End Times. Since God is supposed to be the ultimate in everything he would be making a critical and irrevocable mistake...

...Because in ending time God would in effect be destroying himself.
